It is located in the Highlands, the eastern part of Iceland close to the biggest European glacier Vatnajokull of 8.300 km<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Client:<\/strong> Landsvirkjun \/the National Power Company\/<\/p>\n<p><strong>Superior Contractor:<\/strong>\u00a0Istak hf, Iceland<\/p>\n<p><strong>Construction technology:<\/strong> excavation works with use of drilling-blasting works \/NTM- Norwegian tunneling method\/<\/p>\n<p><strong>Executed works:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>drilling works with use of Tamrock Axera Data T08 drilling car with hammer power of 22kW<\/li>\n<li>blasting works with use of emulsion blasting agent of slurry type, plastified by water, with non-electric exploder NONEL, Mini-SSE charging device<\/li>\n<li>loading and removal of mucking material by wheel
